Revised Walk-in-Interview – Required  362  Nos.    Assistant  Professors  on  contract  basis  in  different  disciplines  for  session 2013-14
KURUKSHETRA UNIVERSITY KURUKSHETRA (KUK), WALK-IN-INTERVIEW notice dated 03-07-2013
Required 362 Nos. Assistant Professors on contract basis in different disciplines for
the session 2013-2014 till the classes for the academic session are over or regular
appointments are made, whichever, is earlier. Number of positions may increase or
decrease. The reservation of positions will be as per State Government policy adopted by the
University. The qualifications will be the same as prescribed for the post of Assistant Professor
by the UGC / State Govt./ AICTE/ University. However, if eligible candidates are not found
available at the time of interview, the condition of NET/SLET/ Ph.D/ M.Tech. etc. may be
relaxed.
The remuneration for the eligible candidates is Rs.21600/- (consolidated) per month.
However, for those in whose cases the condition of NET/SLET/Ph.D/ M.Tech. etc. is relaxed,
the remuneration is Rs.15000/- (consolidated) per month.

Interested candidates may report for interview on the given date and time alongwith
application, all original and attested copies of certificates. No T.A/ D.A will be paid for
attending the interview.
Note:
1. The posts which the various writ petitioners were holding, have been kept vacant
as per orders of the Hon?ble Panjab & Haryana High Court, Chandigarh.
However, the writ petitioners are at liberty to appear in „Walk-in-Interview?.
2. The workload in the subject of Urdu is 10 hours against the full workload norm of 16
hours per week. Hence, the payment of remuneration will be proportionately
reduced.

Interested eligible candidates may report for walk-in-interview as per schedule mentioned
against each in the office of the Dean, Academic Affairs. However, candidates for the UIET positions,
for which interviews have been fixed from 19.08.2013 to 22.08.2013 may report in the office of the
Dean, Faculty of Engineering & Technology.
The candidates should bring their applications (five copies on prescribed Proforma available at
University Website i.e www.kuk.ac.in and all original and attested copies of certificates:

# Engagement will be made subject to decision in CWP No. 25752 of 2012.
The qualifications will be the same as prescribed for the post of Assistant Professor by
the UGC / State Govt./ AICTE/ University norms.
Number of positions can be increased or decreased. The engagement of
candidates belonging to reserved categories will also be made as per norms, if available. No
T.A/ D.A will be paid for attending the interview.
